Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), including children’s exposure to domestic violence, have powerful short- and long-term effects on children’s development. This training helps participants understand the family dynamics of abuse and the impact of domestic violence trauma on physical and emotional development.

Social distancing and virtual learning have caused many parents to worry about their children's development. The instructor will discuss ways parents can support their children's social skills and school readiness. Class attendees will leave with simple strategies to implement at home and increased confidence in supporting families.
